The 2022 World Cup set to begin in Qatar. This is a very exciting time for football fans as the tournament is set to be one of the biggest in history. Qatar wasn’t always been a popular destination for football tourists. In recent years Qatar did some noticeable improvements and the World Cup will only add to this. The country has a lot to offer, including beautiful beaches and a variety of interesting cultures. Qatar has already begun preparations for the tournament, and the country is expected to be in top condition. The infrastructure is already in place, teams have started to arrive and all that is left is for the tournament to start.

FIFA World Cup 2022 Schedule
The tournament is set to begin on November 20th in Qatar as World Cup 2022 host country and will last for almost a month. There are a total of 32 teams, who will compete in 8 groups, with the top two teams proceeding to the knockout stage from each group. There are a number of exciting matchups scheduled for the tournament in groups only, including Spain vs. Germany (28th November 2022), Portugal vs Uruguay (29th November 2022), Belgium vs Croatia (1st December 2022), etc. Qatar & Ecuador match will commence the start of FIFA World Cup 2022 on November 20th at Al Bayt Stadium. The tournament will conclude on 18th December at Lusail Stadium when we will witness the champion of 2022 FIFA World Cup.

It all started when FIFA President of that time (2010) proposed the idea that a World Cup should be held in the Arab World saying “The Arabic world deserves a World Cup. They have 22 countries and have not had any opportunity to organize the tournament”. After that statement in 2nd December 2010, Qatar was announced as the host of FIFA World Cup 2022. A total Eight stadiums have been chosen for the world cup matches after the decision of Qatar as World Cup 2022 Host Country. All these stadiums were short listed after Inspection committee visited Qatar after showed the green flag.
